Dávid Remsey
Born into a multi-generational artist family associated with the Gödöllő Art Colony (Secessionist Artists' Colony), which provided a defining impulse for his artistic path.
In 2005, he graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) majoring in visual communication.
From 2012 onwards, inspired by the puppet theatre traditions alive within the art colony and his family, he began combining puppet theatre with lighting techniques, and subsequently established the Ledpuppets light theatre together with actors Zoltán Lendváczky and Viktória Makra.
Since then, they have performed at numerous domestic and international festivals.
Since 2014, he has pursued his puppet theatre and illustration careers in parallel. In 2015, he won the Illustrator of the Year award for the visual world of the volume titled Sündör és Niru.
For him, creating images in two dimensions and extending them into three dimensions are equally essential, placing particular emphasis on experimenting with light and its potential to generate captivating visual experiences.
